3 Halloween Punch Recipes
When it comes to Halloween Punch Recipes, there are three different colors schemes: Orange, black and red. The orange and black, of course, are the key colors of Halloween, and the red is often designed to represent blood – where the red is very deep in order to effectively complement the table.
As such, all Halloween punch recipes are designed to contain these colors, and their ingredients are often focused on what can create the Halloween aura while still tasting delicious.
Orange
To make the Orange punch recipe, you will need:
- .15 oz unsweetened orange drink mix (like Kool-Aid)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups pineapple juice
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups Sprite
- Orange
Use a blender to combine the drink mix, pineapple juice and sugar until the sugar is not only completely gone but also has a slight froth. Pour the liquid into a punch bowl and add the cold water and Sprite to the mix. Decorate with Orange slices.
Black
To make the Black punch recipe, you will need:
- .15 oz envelope of grape drink mix
- .15 oz envelope of orange drink mix
- 2 cups of sugar
- 3 quarts of water
- 1 liter of Ginger ale
Pour both of the mixes, the sugar and the water into a punch bowl and continue to stir until everything has completely dissolved. When you are ready to serve, add all of the ginger ale.
Red
To make the Red punch recipe, you will need:
- 10 oz Bourbon
- 5 oz lime juice
- 1 liter of Tomato Juice
- 10 teaspoons of Tequila
Mix all of the ingredients together before serving. Add or subtract bourbon/tequila for an extra alcoholic beverage.
Adding the Fright and Scare
If you want to make your Halloween Punch Recipes more “Scary” you can always add the following items:
- A Frozen Hand (pour water into a latex glove, freeze, add to punch just prior to serving).
- Gummy Worms
- Red Licorice (for guts)
- Anything scary and edible that will not take away from the flavor.
Don’t forget to decorate your table with as many plastic spiders as you can. Your Halloween Punch Recipes are meant for you to do with as you please.
